Competitions

This event is a fabulous opportunity to introduce yourself and your child to a competitive environment which will be fun and relaxed with awards for all. It runs every December. The competition is open to all recreational BTC members.

🎄 Competition Rules: The minimum age to enter is 4 years old. To enter at aged 4 your child must be in full time education and able to do a routine – please email lexi.lawton@bracknelltrampolinecentre.co.uk or speak to the coach to discuss if unsure. There is no maximum age restriction to entering.

🎄 Competition Routines: Everyone will compete with two 10-move routines

Routine 1
1. Straddle jump
2. Seat landing
3. To feet
4. Tuck jump
5. Half twist jump
6. Pike jump
7. Seat landing
8. Half twist to feet
9. Tuck jump
10. Full twist

Routine 2: You may repeat the first routine or any other ten move routine of choice (to be discussed with the coach)

There will be coaches onsite all day to help the competitors and call out routines where needed.

🎄 Marking from the judges
In a competition, the judges mark each move of a routine individually and marks are also awarded for the difficulty of the routine. Marks are deducted for the following:
• Landing on the blue pads during, or at the end of the routine
• Adding extra bounces between moves so that the 10-move routine is not continuous
• For failing to stand still for three seconds at the end of the routine.
• For untidy execution of moves
The coaches will work on all these elements with the participants in advance of the competition.

🎄 Age Groups – The event is mixed gender with age groups to be determined after entry has closed to ensure we have competitive numbers in all groups.

🎄 Information: A week before the competition, the timetable will be sent to all parents/competitors by email and will be posted on the www.bracknelltrampolinecentre.co.uk website. Your Coach will have a copy and will advise you re times etc.

🎄 Due to space restrictions we ask that only one spectator per competitor come in to the centre to watch. Apologies for any disappointment this may cause.

🎄 We reserve the right to run 30 minutes ahead of scheduled timetable time so please arrive early (except those in the first group of the day at 9.00am who should arrive 5 minutes early).
